The artistic environment of La Fille Bertha, just like the creative environment of MM Company, involves a dreamlike dimension, emotional and unconscious flows. Visual imagery floating in a timeless dimension: a sort of rarefied reality where the atmosphere suggests silent, magical and surreal places.
The artwork incorporates strong symbolism inspired by the personalities of the two founders, reinterpreted by the artist thanks to her background as a psychologist. Manuel Barbieri – observant, reflective and at first lonely – has been depicted as a panther; while Marco Magalini – dreamy, adventurous and at times nostalgic – as a castle.
